5" ring gag.  Satin finished stainless steel cheek with an inlaid copper twisted wire snaffle mouthpiece.  This gag action bit helps elevate the horse's shoulders and gives him more time to respond before the bit is completely engaged.  Gag action is commonly used in trainig and competing in all western events.
