Our stable blankets are made with a tough, nylon outershell. Not only will this blanket last, but with regular care it will continue to look new. Since the outershell has a slick finish, dirt is easily removed and it will not attract or hold shavings.
All Fiber Fill is Not Created Equal!

You may think that all blankets are filled with the same type of fiber fill, but that is not the case. Another bonus of owning a Rambo Quarter Horse blanket is that they are filled with Thermo-bonded fiber fill. When your horse lays down, the fiber fill will get flattened, but when he gets up the thermo-bonded fiber will regain its original structure and thickness. This is important as it is the loft of the fiber that determines how warm your horses' blanket is, not just the weight. This is because it is the air that circulates around the horse that keeps him warm, so the thinner the fiber the less air can circulate between the horse and the outer layer of his blanket.

CRISSCROSS BELLY SURCINGLES
The criss-cross belly surcingles in conjunction with the tail strap and cut of the blanket keep Rambo blankets from slipping or turning on your horse. Having criss-cross surcingles allows the blanket the right itself even after a horse lays down and rolls.

The tail strap in conjunction with the criss-cross belly surcingles and cut of the blanket keep Rambo blankets from slipping or turning on your horse. The tail strap can be left hooked when putting the blanket on or taking it off. Just pull the horse's tail over the strap and the blanket will stay in place.
