Snaffle O Ring Series Bits
These O Ring snaffles are a must for any horseman's tool box. Loose Ring or O Ring snaffles are the most commonly used piece of equipment by trainers of all disciplines, for everything from starting colts to softening older performance horses. they work great when used to introduce a horse to a bit for the first time; teach a horse to follow his nose; lateral fexion exercises and training drills; establish proper head set, soften older horses; or teach collection. Classic Equine's O Ring features a unique four inch ring design. Compared to smaller designs, this offers a side pull like action, applying pressure to the horse's nose and face. Plus it has a weighted feel for greater sensation during t he pick up and release of pressure.

4" O Ring: Smooth Snaffle
The softest of the two O Ring styles, this mouthpiece is 3/8" in diameter, 5" wide, and curved to shape the mouth.  Inlaid copper promotes salivation and greater sensitivity to the bars and corners of the mouth.  Great for starting colts, training, or pleasure riding.

4" O Ring: Twisted Snaffle
A step up from the Smooth Snaffle, this bit features a 3/8" X 5" stainless steel twisted wire mouthpiece.  Each side is twisted in opposite directions, so when pressure is applied to either side the horse realizes the same sensation.  It creates greater sensitivity to the mouth.  This is a great bit for training and softening the corners and bars of older horses to become more responsive.
