Loomis Bits By Joyce Loomis-Kernek, a former WPRA & AQHA Champion Barrel Racer and World Renowned Clinican, designed the original Loomis Gag Bit. Its one-of-a-kind design has been trusted by some of the most prominent horse trainers for more than 25 years, and still is today.

Professional trainers have used these bits for many years to start colts or tune finished horses. They work great for transitioning from the ring snaffle, providing additional lift to control hte horse's nose, poll, rib cage, and shoulders.
