  • Over the last number of years, hoods and neck covers have been growing in popularity as people have realized how much heat escapes from the horse's neck and shoulders. Inspired by customers who wanted additional protection for their horse's, Tom MacGuinness, for the past year has been developing a new patented design for the Rambo Turnout.


The Rambo Turnout Wug is a dramatic new design. This rug and/or horse blanket combines all of the best features that make the Rambo Turnout so popular: AquaTrans Coating Technology, 1000 Denier Ballistic Nylon, and Breathable Nylon Lining to reduce rubbing and now more!

The WUG / Horse Blanket incorporates a very simple, effective and user friendly front closure system. It has a scalloped front that goes half way up the horse's neck enclosing the shoulder and prevents rain from entering the front of the rug/blankets. A collar or scarf-like effect around the neck reduces heat loss. By keeping the body heat in, Horseware Ireland, has developed a new innovative rug/blanket for discerning horse owners who give their horses only the best!
